Sam Campobello started his gaming career at the Barbary Coast in 1976 as a blackjack dealer. In 1982, he moved to the Flamingo Hilton where he was promoted to a floor supervisor. In 1984, he was hired away by MGM and was positioned as the floor supervisor for eight years until returning back to his home in Buffalo, New York.
