Module 2 contains the skills training required by the nursing assistant.

Section 7: Vital Signs & Measurements; Admission & Discharge

Section 8: Patient Care & Comfort

• Topic 1: Bedmaking, Bathing
• Topic 2: Warm & Cold Applications
• Topic 3: Surgical & Subacute Care; Death/Dying

Section 9: Observation & Reporting, Skills by Body System

• Topic 1: Observation, Reporting & Other Procedures
• Topic 2: Pediatric Patients
• Topic 3: Special Procedures

Section 10: Workplace Readiness & Certification Exam Prep

• Topic 1: Communication & Interpersonal Relationships

• Topic 3: Workplace Readiness

This program also includes a clinical lab component and supervised externship. Typcially, these are begun following successful completion of the online portion of the training. Arrangements for the external compontents of the program will be made by the Partner School offering the program.
