Inpatient Case 1
Each Case in Hillcrest offers the student a case log or cover page. This is for your use and will help in keeping track of the reports you have completed. There is also a glossary of terms used in the dictation for that Case, and there are illustrations. Students should keep a careful record of the work they have completed, and the cover page can be used for that. Learn your glossary words-do not make a mistake on a word that is in your glossary!

Following completion of Case 1 you may choose to transcribe Transcription Test 1. The Transcription tests are transcribed, proofed, and graded just like the Case reports. Because the GES course work is student-led, you may complete these Transcription Tests at your convenience-either after each Case or later, all at once.
