Lean Enterprise constantly seeks perfection in every part of every thing that a company does. This can be accomplished by implementing the previously mentioned Elements, and also providing a method for continuous process improvement. Continuous improvement is accomplished by using self-directed teams of employees who have been trained on Lean Enterprise concepts to review all processes, eliminate waste, and strive to meet customer perceived value requirements. This program, which in Lean Enterprise is called "Kaizen", is the vehicle used to implement all aspects of the Lean Enterprise transformation. |
