1. How do I register?

You need to locate a university, college, or educational institution that offers our programs and register with them.

2. How much do the programs cost?

The schools and institutions that offer our programs set the prices. You must locate one of our partner schools or institutions for cost and registration information.

3. Why do I have to locate a school?

ed2go doesn't offer programs directly to the public. We work in partnership with colleges, universities, and educational institutions throughout North America. ed2go is the content developer for the program, but the schools actually offer the programs and provide the certificates upon completion.

4. Can I register for programs if I am an international student?

For any students who live outside of the United States, Canada, or US Territories, simply click here for more information.

5. Do I ever have to go to the school or institution I register with?

Not in most cases. Most of our partner schools and institutions offer telephone or online registration. All of our programs are delivered entirely online, so you never have to go to a class or travel to the school. Locate a school, and contact them for more registration options.

6. What if there isn't a school in my area that offers the program I want to take?

You can register with the school that is closest to your zip code (even if it's far away). Since ed2go programs are online, you never have to actually travel to the school. Most schools offer telephone or online registration. Locate a school for more registration information.

7. How long does it take to complete a program?

When you enroll in the program, you’re given six months to complete it. If you need more time, you’ll receive a six-month extension at no charge. If you require another extension beyond the free six-month extension, you can pay a $75.00 U.S. (licensing fee) to ed2go for an additional six-month extension. These extensions will be consecutive (one after the other), so if you step away from the program and come back ready to resume your education, you may do so after paying the licensing fee. This fee may change from one year to the next. Please don’t request an extension until you’ve almost run out of time (determined by end date). This way, you have the option of stepping away from the program for a while if needed, and upon returning, you may catch up, use the free extension, or pay for an additional license in order to complete the program.

8. Do I have to buy additional materials?

All the materials you'll need are included, and their cost will be covered by your tuition. ed2go will ship all materials ground service upon enrollment.

9. Can I get financial assistance?

ed2go courses are non-credit courses, so they do not qualify for federal aid. In some states, vocational rehab or workforce development boards will pay for qualified students to take our courses. Locate a school for more information on this or simply click here to request a loan information form.

10. What happens when I complete the program?

Upon successful completion of the program, you will be awarded a certificate of completion from the school you registered with.

11. Am I guaranteed a job?

ed2go programs will provide you with the skills you need to obtain an entry-level position in most cases. We don't provide direct job placement services, but our facilitators and career counselors will help you build your resume and are available to give advice on finding your first job. Facilitators will also be available to use as a professional reference upon completion of the program. Potential students should always do research on the job market in their area before registering.

12. Who will be my instructor?

Each student is paired up with a facilitator for one-on-one interaction. The facilitator will be available (via e-mail) to answer any questions you may have and to provide feedback on your performance. All of our facilitators are successful working professionals in the fields in which they teach.

13. What software or hardware do I need in order to take online programs and what are the system requirements?

In order to take our online programs, you must have access to a computer and the Internet (a normal dial-up connection is fine). You can access the program contents from any web-enabled computer. There are no necessary plug-ins. You do not have to use the same computer to log-in to the program every time. We recommend that you have a word processing program (Microsoft Word is best) and the latest version of Internet Explorer. This program is compatible with Windows Vista Operating System.

14. Can I use a Mac?

No, you must access this program with a PC or IBM-compatible computer.
