AutoCAD 2005 Introduction continued
In order to make our training sites as versatile and capable as possible, our programmers make extensive use of JavaScript and a variety of multimedia options. Because of this, it is vital that you equip your computer (the one where you will be doing your training...) with the latest version of Microsoft Internet Explorer. By doing so you can virtually eliminate any chance of code incompatibility.
Our site is also designed to function without overt problems when students use the newest versions of Netscape and Mozilla, but they cannot take full advantage of some of the site's features.
Click to get the most current version of Internet Explorer.
You may encounter other special features throughout the course which require a special "Browser Helper Object", also known as a "plug-in". These additional bits of software may be installed to assist your browser in displaying graphics, accessing special document files, or displaying Video clips. If so, you will be offered a link to a site where you may download these plug-ins for free.
That's about all we need to do to get ready, so click the "Next" button at the top of the page, and let's get started!
