How this course is structured. The first page of each unit will list the Objectives for that unit. It will also list the Topic Preparation requirements. (What you need to study to be able to complete the objectives...) The next page will present a list of Keywords for that unit. Understanding these terms is vital to your understanding of the material presented in that unit, and you are will be given instructions on how to look them up and turn them in to your instructor. The page after that will contain the Overview for the unit. This is just what it sounds like, essentially a brief description of what you can expect to have learned by the time you complete the unit and all of it's associated homework, projects, and tests. Following the overview, will be the actual text of the unit. This will usually consist of several related topics, each of which should be read in the sequence they are presented in, but which can also be accessed directly from the "Topics In This Unit" menu, as can any item discussed on this page. Within the body of text for each unit, you will find Exercises where appropriate, and of course a Test at the end of the unit so that you and your instructor can accurately measure your progress. Accomplishing these will really help you "nail down" what you have learned, so that you are ready to move on to the next subject. That's all there is to it.
